First Worship Service – May 12 at 10 AM

We at Mariposa Reformed Baptist Church eagerly invite everyone to come and experience together the richness of God’s grace for us in Christ at our first worship service.

To this end, every Sunday, beginning May 12th, 2013 at 10 AM, we will give the principle place in our worship to the expository preaching of God’s Word (1 Corinthians 1:21). Letting the Word of Christ dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16), we will also offer prayer (1 Timothy 2:1) and sing Psalms and scriptural hymns (Ephesians 5:19) that bring praise to our Triune God. As the one people of God, we will also spiritually feast on the Bread of Life (John 6:35) as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Immediately following our worship, we will have a time of fellowship (Acts 2:42), and a (provided) light lunch, followed by a time of sharing (2 Corinthians 13:11), encouragement (1 Thesalonians 5:11), service (1 Peter 4:10), further prayer (James 5:16) and teaching (Acts 2:42).

We will be holding our service at the Mariposa County Library at 4978 10th St., Mariposa. (The library is our temporary location, and we will likely be moving to a different, larger location in town, in the next week or two.)

We will be singing out of this hymnal.
